Continuing floods and monsoon rains have reportedly killed more than 1,400 people and marooned another 30,000 in three of the five provinces in Pakistan as of Sunday. First of all we would like to thank all our customers and regular vistors of our website who gave such a great response to our emails through which we asked for donations and succeeded. Now we feel that the worse is yet to be faced as it has been reported that a new string of monsoon rains would enter Pakistan by Monday evening, Chief Meteorologist Muhammad Riaz predicted on Sunday. The heavy rains would hit Lower and Central Sindh areas of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur, Upper part of Balochistan, Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, he said in an interview with the local media....

"River floods entering Sindh would be there in next four days," said Riaz (local), adding " it would be devastating" as the concerned authorities are taking preventive measures.

All Pakistani rivers are in high-level floods which would continue to pass through various areas of the country during the week spreading misery, deaths and breaking out epidemics. Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the forthcoming rain and floods would affect some 400,000 people in the southern province. So the worse is still yet to be seen in Sindh and if you and us do not make a move and do something about this right now or we might just lose out on a lot more of our Pakistani valuable lives.

With our small effort what we are doing is that we are opening all our offices in Karachi,Faisalabad, Lahore, Islamabad & Peshawar to collect aid from all over Pakistan which would be including food supplies, Clothing, tents, Medicines & Cash to carry out the relief efforts which are planned. Please make sure your donations reach our offices all over Pakistan by 19th August as it would then be moved together to the affected areas.
