The Shape Sumo II Pro Kit is a camera support package that an individual Sumo II Pro camera support, Shape Box, and Counter Weight units.

The Shape Sumo II Pro camera support includes the individual SU Shoulder Rig, Telescopic Support Arm, Hand5 Quick Handle, and Pad1 Back Pad accessories. Comfortable positioning is offered via a high camera platform raised 3/4" above your shoulder tip, and the camera support is optimally suited for digital DSLR photo cameras such as Canon 5D, Canon 7D, Nikon D300s and Nikon D5000 and Lumix GH1.

The SU Shoulder Rig provides easy adjustment to fit different body types and needs, all via convenient knobs. The camera can be positioned by attaching it to the camera support via a standard 1/4-20 camera screw. You can adjust the camera nearer or further away from you, or change the camera angle via the knob accessible through a 3" slot on the camera platform. By positioning the Back Pad, Counter Weight, or Telescopic Support Arm it is possible to fit your body type, along with easy removal capability. Positioning of the 15mm Rod System and Shape Box is also possible via the shoulder rig. A powder coat wrinkle finish and cushion for the shoulder pad are integrated into the shoulder rig. You can use the shoulder rig on either shoulder.

Matteboxes, 35mm lens adaptor, and follow focus mechanisms are supported with the 15mm Rod System accessory that helps in avoiding additional weight on the lens by supporting the weight of these accessories. The 15mm Rod System is composed of a bracket and two 15mm aluminum rods. Measuring 8" (20.3cm) in length, the rods have 1/2-13 threaded female tips, which allow attachment to other 15mm rods. Using a 4mm hexagonal key, the Rod System is attached to the front of the camera and can be easily removed when not in use. Offering easy adjustment, the rod system uses a small knob for horizontal adjustments, allowing movement of the rods along the bracket, and vertical adjustments up to a height of 1 3/8"(3.5 cm) to match the height of the video accessory using a 4mm hexagonal key. You can achieve augmented stability and versatility for the camera support using the Arm1 Telescopic Support Arm; a Manfrotto 233B Camera Mount Bracket with a 4" cup that provides large surface contact area.

You can extend the Telescopic Support Arm from a length of 14-20", thus achieving higher reach. Rotation of 360° along both, vertical and horizontal, axis is possible via the rotating arm. You can place the cup on a stable surface such as your waist, hip, thigh, or a nearby wall, or on the ground.

The Hand5 Quick Handle is a professional video stabilization accessory with 2 camera handles, each providing an individual rotation angle of 360°. You can attach the handle to the camera platform using a simple screw knob. A push button located at the articulation allows easy attachment and removal. Combined with the anodized aluminum Rod Block, the Quick Handle offers camera support for all 15mm rods. You can achieve precise positioning by sliding the Quick Handle along the rods and tightening the small red knob located on the Rod Block.

Via a screw knob, the Pad1 Back Pad can be attached to the shoulder rig. Augmented camera support stability and comfort is offered by the back pad that is padded on one side and weighs 0.35 lb. You can adjust the positioning of the back pad in accordance to your body type with a vertical adjustment range of 1-1/4" and a horizontal adjustment spanning 360°. A screw knob allows easy attachment and removal of the back pad from the support. With a 1/4-20 threaded hole, the back pad supports attachment of the Shape Box and other accessories.

The Shape Box video accessories holder can be used to hold all accessories in proximity to the camera. Accessories such as wireless audio receivers, audio recorders, hard drive recorders, and battery packs can be stored within the Shape Box. Proximity to the camera reduces the length of the connectors and cables required for the accessories. You can attach the Shape Box below the camera platform of compatible camera supports or directly beneath a camera via a 1/4-20 screw located on upper side of the box. Two 1/4-20 threaded holes on the lower side of the Shape Box allow you to connect it above the camera platform of compatible camera supports. Open front and rear end of the box allow you to access the housed accessory without hassles for plugging/unplugging cables or accessing controls at the front. Neoprene foam pads measuring 3/16" on the upper and lower surfaces of the box hold the accessory in place. The 1/8" aluminum Shape Box body is covered with an industrial grade powder coat.

You can augment the stability of the camera support using the Shape Counter Weight that balances or counterweights the camera at the rear. Free motion of the handles is also enabled as the camera weight is relieved by the Counter Weight weighing 4 lb. It also includes padding for the Counter Weight. The Counter Weight can be attached to the camera support via a screw knob. You can easily position the Counter Weight to fit your body type, and a simple removal mechanism allows you to detach it from the camera support.

A compact and portable design allows the Sumo II Pro Kit to be applied in various situations. You can also augment the functionality of the Sumo II Pro Kit via extensive compatibility for additional components such as Shape Belt, Shape Box, Counter Weight, and 15mm Rod Riser System.
