Supra MD-08-16-EU / SP Mk3 strip is the most effective, not destroying audiophile pocket, a way to fully protect up to 8 devices against any voltage surges, surges or even lightning strikes.

The general assumptions regarding anti-radiation and surge protection remain the same as in the previous generation, whereas   materials and components used in the production of new slats are dramatically changing. In generation  Mk3   we have so   a completely new aluminum housing and new sockets from a German supplier. Production and final assembly is of course done at the Supry factory in Sweden in Ljungskile. 
Each slat   SUPRA from the MD Mk3 series   is equipped   ceramic fuse 10A   or   16A , and   a non-invasive anti-interference filter called NIF for short   (Non-Intrusive Filtering). This solution   developed by the British laboratory Ben Duncan Research   is intended   elimination of disturbances, especially those of high frequency . It is these  disturbances often found in many electrical installations have a negative impact on the operation of electronic devices and audio equipment can cause noticeable deterioration of sound quality .

In version   SUPRA MD08-16-EU / SP Mk3   d , a three-way surge protection system was used.   It includes   protection against surges, not only between phase conductors, but also between each phase conductor and ground.   This filter protects against sudden surges in the electric network with very high voltage and very small fraction of a second that may cause damage to the equipment.   In such cases, the usual fuse fails the exam, because the voltage jump takes too long for the fuse wire to melt and break, cutting off the current circuit. This solution protects both the user and the device against possible power transients at the same time.

Slats with fewer sockets are available in Mk3 and SP versions:   SUPRA MD-06 EU Mk3   and   SUPRA MD06 EU / SP Mk3.

The most important element in the strip, next to the fuse, is the security element of the connected devices   Supra NIF filter (Non-Intrusive-Filtering)   -   non-invasive anti-interference filter   developed by Ben Duncan Research in England. Its task is to eliminate all disturbances, especially those of high frequency. It is these disturbances often found in many electrical installations that have a negative effect on the operation of electronic devices and in audio equipment can cause noticeable deterioration of sound quality.
